Medium/larger business setup options
Option 1 (Highly preferred): IP Capable phone system For businesses that are using 4+ lines, an IP capable phone system (PABX) is the preferred way to get C-talk VoIP service operating in their business. This means a phone system that can support VoIP trunks (also called SIP trunks) directly. The advantage of this setup is higher quality calls, and more simultaneous calls can be supported through a given internet connection. Many new phone systems can support VoIP trunks, and some older ones can have VoIP/SIP expansion cards added to them. In most parts of NZ, we can connect you with a local business that can supply and install a VoIP capable phone system for you to use with your C-talk VoIP service. Contact us today, and we can discuss the availability in your area. Option 2: PABX-integration This is where your existing analogue PABX phone system is retained, and C-talk VoIP lines are "plumbed" into it using adapters, directly replacing the analogue lines formerly going into it. The advantage of this setup is that you do not have to change your existing PABX system, and all phones/extensions/cabling etc remain just as it is, but you get the cost-savings advantage of using the C-talk VoIP technology. The cost of integrating C-talk VoIP lines into your PABX varies, as each business situation can be different, and this installation needs to be done by a technician. However this can often be done for between $300 and $600 dollars. Please contact us to discuss your situation today.
